My Product Design Journey
From starting a hobby, to discovering my passion for changing the world, here is my journey through product design.
March 2021
During the COVID-19 quarantine, I began to understand the importance of human health on a global scale.
The pandemic allowed me to think more critically about how we can sustain physical health individually and as a species.
August 2021
I started doing graphic design for local health start-ups that advocated for health and safety during these stressful times of isolation.
May 2022
I joined the Mr. Party team, where I was able to use my technical design skills to build a product and create user interfaces and experiences.
From this experience, I was eager to build my own products that aimed towards my goal of bettering human health.
Mr. Party is a mobile app that introduces a new way of listening to music in groups based on proximity.
October 2022
I began SleepStreak, an app that helps college students improve their sleep and overall wellness, as a UI/UX designer.
This was my first opportunity to work hands-on and implement my design knowledge to improve health on a global scale.
Researching our problem space helped me understand that physical health and mental health are closely intertwined, and one's mental well-being can significantly impact their physical well-being.
From this point, I combined and shifted my focus to improving mental and physical health.
March 2023
I expanded into web design and development, creating websites for businesses and people.
